Chef Gaston's Name

Born an Ohio native (Mudd Made), Chef Michal Gaston's humble beginnings began while working alongside his beloved grandma Dear in her kitchen and while helping tend to her garden. This experience is what inspires Chef‘s appreciation and passion to prepare meals with quality, fresh ingredients. After high school he pursued a degree in Culinary Arts from the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio & Bradford Culinary Institute, Columbus, OH.

over 20 years later after gaining experience in fast-food restaurants, microbreweries, and 5-star restaurants, in 2018 Chef became his own boss, a Private Traveling Chef. He is passionate about curating memorable, five (5) star, fine dining experiences that engage all senses.

Discipline, creativity and perseverence further drive this chef in all that he does. He prepares a variety of cuisines and confidently says, 'My favorite dish is the next one! He has cooked for former Ohio State star football quarterbacks... All American, Heisman Trophy Winner, Troy Smith; Starting quarterback and NFL player, Braxton Miller; he was the Executive Chef for the 2021 Troy Smith & Braxton Miller Heisman Elite Youth Football Camp. He has served The Columbus Urban League, Toledo Early Learning Coalition, churches and other organizations; he has traveled across the United State including Alaska, he continues to serve vacationers at various destination    get-a-ways such as Hocking Hills Resort, the Bungalou-Louisville, KY and many other private social gatherings. Chef's heart to serve others does not exclude the underprivileged, when he volunteers his culinary skills become a tool for compassion, ensuring others, dispite their circumstances, are served a gourmet meal with dignity.
